Toroslar EDAŞ sustains its activities in Arsuz, Hatay with an investment of 25 million TL in 2021 in order to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi (Toroslar EDAŞ) continues its investments in Hatay without slowing down. Low voltage poles, distribution centre, lighting fixtures and poles were replaced and overhead lines were moved underground in Arsuz sub-province of Hatay with the new investments to provide better quality and continuous energy.
Initiated in June 2021, the project enabled the replacement works on the grid, which has completed its economic life, to be completed in the coastal part of Karaağaç Neighbourhood of Arsuz sub-province. A total of 25 million TL has been invested to the project completed in 2021.
Requirements of 6000 households fulfilled uninterruptedly
With the project, the goal was to minimise the number and duration of power failures through establishing a new underground grid and replacing the overhead lines, distribution centre, distribution panels, lighting fixtures that energise Karaağaç Neighbourhood of Arsuz sub-province. The works to replace the distribution centre that meets the electricity requirement of 6000 subscribers and to put the electricity lines underground were completed; hence, power failures have been prevented.
With the project, which was initiated in June 2021, 44 kilometres of high voltage and 15 kilometres of low voltage cables were laid, the cells of the distribution centre were replaced and 11 new distribution panels were installed.
Sustaining its investments in Hatay since 2014, Toroslar EDAŞ has the goal to provide higher quality and uninterrupted energy through its large-scale electricity distribution grid, technological investments and maintenance works that the company carries out every year.
