Toroslar EDAŞ sustains its activities in Şahinbey with an investment of 2.3 million TL in order to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply
Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi (Toroslar EDAŞ) continues its investments in Gaziantep, where the Company operates.
With the purpose of preventing power failures in this period when electricity demand increased, Toroslar EDAŞ completed its project, which was initiated in March 2021, to supply the distribution centre in Nuripazarbaşı Neighbourhood of Şahinbey sub-province with alternative high voltage line with an investment of 2.3 million TL.
Requirements of 2,776 households fulfilled
The project covered electric supply to the distribution centre through alternative lines and all measures were taken to minimise power failures and breakdown periods. The works to replace the substation that meets the electricity requirement of 2,776 subscribers and to put the electricity lines underground were completed, and alternative lines were installed to avoid power failures.
The Project, which was initiated in March 2021 and had a total budget of 2,294,000 TL, was completed after laying a 3.3-km long double-circuit high voltage cable and replacing the cells of the distribution centre.
Continuing its investments in Gaziantep since 2014, Toroslar EDAŞ has the goal to provide uninterrupted electricity with the latest and technological investments.
