Continuing all its efforts to provide uninterrupted electricity, Toroslar EDAŞ included a new energy transmission line rehabilitation project to its portfolio in Kozan, Adana. The total amount of the new energy transmission line project carried out between Kozan and Feke sub-provinces reached 10.6 million TL. Thanks to the investment, the sustainability of the electricity supply in 11 neighbourhoods in Kozan sub-province as well as 7 neighbourhoods in Feke sub-province was improved.
Toroslar EDAŞ continues its efforts to provide an uninterrupted electricity distribution service to its customers in its service area, i.e., Adana, Mersin, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye and Kilis. Accordingly, Toroslar EDAŞ carried out a new energy transmission line project in Kozan, Adana; and also carried out maintenance and repair works.
The energy requirement of a total of 18 neighbourhoods of Kozan and Feke sub-provinces, where severe winter conditions prevail, has been provided through the same energy transmission line for the past 40 years. Due to completing its economic life, the 40-year-old energy transmission line which could not also meet the demand that is now over its capacity should be rehabilitated.
Works are Ongoing Relentlessly
As part of the project, 43-km-long energy transmission line with a cross-section of 3/0 AWG, as well as 6 distribution hubs were installed. Having an estimated price of 10.6 million TL, the project enabled the region to be provided energy from 2 separate resources and improved the power supply and demand of 18 neighbourhoods.
