TL 12 million investment of Toroslar EDAŞ in Sarıçam, Adana

• Having the goal to provide uninterrupted and sustainable energy in Adana, Toroslar EDAŞ has begun the new "Sarıçam Suluca Neighborhood Distribution Plant Project" by an investment of TL 12.7 million.

Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (Toroslar EDAŞ) continues to replace the infrastructure of the energy grid in Adana by giant investments with the project carried out in Sarıçam district.

With the goal to increase the security of energy supply in the region and prevent voltage drops with the investment to be carried out in Sarıçam district in Adana, Toroslar EDAŞ will replace the energy grid in the region considering the energy demands in the future. The company will complete the project by the end of December 2022.

Toroslar EDAŞ included this project in its 2022 investment program in order to replace the HV overhead grid line in the region with the underground lines and to establish new substations in order to prevent the distribution grid to be affected by adverse weather conditions.

• 451 grid poles to be replaced

With the goal to enable access of local residents to higher quality and uninterrupted energy, Toroslar EDAŞ will replace 2 monoblock transformer facilities and 451 grid poles, as well as moving the 6-km long HV overhead line underground in Suluca Neighborhood in Sarıçam. The lighting requirement of the region will be met with the lighting fixtures to be installed on the new grid poles.

• Scheduled outages to be announced 48 hours in advance

In electricity distribution infrastructure investments, power cuts are scheduled in advance by Toroslar EDAŞ for the safety of field workers. To avoid any adverse impact on customers, these scheduled outages are announced on the website of Toroslar EDAŞ 48 hours in advance.

On the other hand, users can also access these announcements as well as information on the existing and future scheduled outages through Toroslar EDAŞ Mobile 186 application and 186 Call Centre.
