Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (Toroslar EDAŞ) builds, maintains and operates electricity distribution grids in provinces within Toroslar Electricity Distribution Region. Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş enables a population of 8.5 million people access electricity distribution within Toroslar Electricity Distribution Region which covers Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Mersin, Kilis and Hatay provinces. ​​​ 

Providing generation, distribution, wholesale and retail services in the electric energy sector in Turkey, Enerjisa was awarded the tender for the privatisation of 100% of the shares of Toroslar EDAŞ through block selling method for US $1,725 million. The transfer of the shares was completed on September 30th, 2013. ​​​ 

Considering the characteristics of the Market, of which the sector is regulated, and the anticipated changes in the market in the upcoming years, Toroslar EDAŞ is focused on required preparations in terms of both strategy and operation and all these preparations were planned in line with the long-term energy market vision and with the goal to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.  ​​​ 

A significant investment was made to upgrade the system of Toroslar EDAŞ, the acquired company and to improve the customer services in particular. With the integration process initiated before the transfer date, the transfer was successfully completed in terms of operational and financial performance. Toroslar EDAŞ focuses on the market dynamics of the sector and continues its activities accordingly.
