have been continuing with their investments to strengthen our country’s infrastructure and to build a sustainable future since the completion of their privatization processes. Enerjisa Distribution Companies have made approximately 125 billion TL of investments since the first day of completion of their privatization processes to modernize and extend electricity infrastructure to have sustainable energy.
Providing services for uninterrupted and high-quality energy for over 22 million consumers in 14 cities in Türkiye, Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, focus on the varying dynamics of the industry and continue their activities with a human-, solution-, and innovation-oriented approach. Carrying out the electricity distribution works through digitalization-oriented projects and investments since completing their privatization processes, Enerjisa Distribution Companies have many achievements thanks to its customer- and solution-centric approach.

Operating with the sustainable, high-quality service approach with their works focused on people, solution and innovation in the electricity distribution responsibility areas, Enerjisa Distribution Companies realized approximately 125 billion TL of investments in 3 regions starting from the day of completion of privatization until the end of 2023, increasing the number of investments every year. Thanks to these investments, the company not only strengthened energy infrastructure in Türkiye, but also made important contributions to the country’s economy and employment.
Mentioning the details of the investment amounts of each company in their service areas, Oğuzhan Özsürekci, General Manager at Enerjisa Distribution Companies, stated: “We took important steps with Başkent EDAŞ starting from the privatization process in 2009 by making a total of 57 billion 350 million TL of investment in order to develop the energy infrastructure of the region we serve which covers Ankara, Çankırı, Kırıkkale, Kastamonu, Bartın, Karabük and Zonguldak. With Ayedaş, on the other hand, we made 16 billion 693 million TL of investments in the period following the privatization process in 2013 in order to extend and modernize the energy distribution network at the Istanbul Anatolian Side. And with Toroslar EDAŞ which suffered the devastating earthquake disaster of the century last year, we made 49 billion 179 million TL of investments since 2013 to strengthen the energy infrastructure and to accelerate modernization works in the region covering Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Hatay and Kilis. Enerjisa Distribution Companies pioneer the transformation in the energy world. With the purpose of supplying uninterrupted and sustainable energy, we use our investments to fulfill the expectations created by the needs of e-mobility and renewable energy on the distribution network.
Özsürekci emphasized that they pioneer the energy transformation of the sector and stated: “We remain as the leading actor in the sector in employment as well. According to 2023 Electricity Distribution Sector report published by Electricity Distribution Services Association (Elder), 28% of employment in the sector is provided by Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ.”
