The Mobile Training Truck of Enerjisa Distribution Companies to Visit the Earthquake Zone in 2025

Launched in 2018 by Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, which operates with the state-of-the-art technologies that leads the industry and adopts human-oriented working principles, the Mobile Training Center Project -having reached 10,000 students so far- will meet with students in the earthquake zone in 2025.

Leading the energy transformation in Türkiye by placing sustainability to the core of its business strategy, developing projects with a particular focus on human and technology Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, AYEDAŞ and Toroslar EDAŞ, continue to offer training to high school and university students in the provinces they provide electricity distribution services via its Mobile Education Center Project.

Whilst the most vital part of the project's 2025 route is the operation area of Toroslar EDAŞ, which provides electricity distribution services to 5 of the 11 provinces affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes on February 6, 2023, the Mobile Training Truck will meet with high school and university students in Adana, Osmaniye, Mersin, Hatay and Gaziantep.

  • The Mobile Training Truck reaches 10,000 students

In 2024, the project, which is a first in the electricity distribution industry in Türkiye and was developed to support the career development of young people, reached a total of 2600 students in 10 vocational high schools and 16 universities in 12 cities, primarily Ankara, Istanbul, Adana and Hatay. The total number of students interacted thanks to the Mobile Training Center Project, which was launched in 2018, reached 10,000 students.

The Mobile Training Center informs about the details of the journey of energy from the point where the responsibility of the electricity distribution company begins until it reaches the houses of consumers. Technical Development teams provide technical training to students regarding the electricity distribution industry and answer their questions.

People and culture experts accompanying the Mobile Education Center during the visits to high schools and universities provide students with information about internship programs and career opportunities at Enerjisa Distribution Companies with the purpose of contributing to their decisions on their education and career journeys.

Highlighting the significance and success of the Mobile Training Center Project, Oğuzhan Özsürekci, Managing Director at Enerjisa Distribution Companies, stated, “In 2025, the Mobile Training Truck will visit the provinces most affected by the earthquake within the operation area of Toroslar EDAŞ, particularly Hatay, and meet with students. We have, so far, reached 10,000 students via the Mobile Training Center Project, which is a first in the industry in Türkiye. We will maintain our devoted efforts in the earthquake zone thanks to this project that provides qualified workforce to the energy industry and contributes to our country’s efficiency.”
