Continuing its operations with the goal of offering uninterrupted and sustainable energy service, Toroslar EDAŞ sustained its maintenance, repair and investment efforts in Gaziantep, a significant industrial and export hub, in 2024. The company rehabilitated and improved its energy infrastructure, while also prioritizing the digital transformation and customer-oriented projects.
Toroslar EDAŞ, one of the three distribution companies together with Ayedaş and Başkent EDAŞ operating under Enerjisa Distribution Companies which place sustainability to the core of its business strategy, develop people- and technology-oriented projects and lead the energy transformation in Türkiye by completing investments, carried out many more successful activities in 2024 to supply more reliable and uninterrupted energy to nearly one million customers in Gaziantep.
Providing services at 10,716 substations and on 26,121-kilometer-long energy line in Gaziantep, Toroslar EDAŞ continued its repair & maintenance works as well as its investments to supply sustainable and uninterrupted energy. Moreover, the company sustained its efforts in digital transformation and actions to reduce its carbon footprint.
Strengthening the infrastructure in Gaziantep to ensure uninterrupted energy
In line with its goal of having a better-lit city and in order to minimize adverse impacts of seasonal and geographical conditions, the company completed the maintenance works for a total of 8,512 lighting fixtures in Araban, İslâhiye, Karkamış, Nurdağı, Nizip, Şahinbey, Şehitkamil, Oğuzeli and Yavuzeli districts. Moreover, the company strengthened its energy infrastructure with the maintenance works completed at 168 substations and 277 distribution centers. In the same period, the company carried out maintenance works for 1286-km-long lines, contributing to sustainable energy distribution.
Successfully achieving the investment goals in 2024, Toroslar EDAŞ completed the laying of 401-kilometer-long new cables and the installation of 2,452 new lighting fixtures in order to provide uninterrupted and high-quality energy to over 264,000 customers that the company serves. Furthermore, the company strengthened its infrastructure by installing 384 new electrical panels and 116 substations.
With these maintenance & repair works and investments, Toroslar EDAŞ successfully achieved its goals set for 2024.
More Efficient Energy Management with Technology-Oriented Solutions
Leading the digitalization process in the energy industry, Toroslar EDAŞ accelerated technology-oriented projects in 2024 to improve its operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Mobile Telecommunication and Charging Stations, which were put into use as part of the Disaster and Emergency Wireless Telecommunication System Project of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, contributed significantly to disaster management by enabling uninterrupted communication in times of crisis.
